From what I am reading the horse just keeps falling down when she gets up. Let's just hope she survives.

It it Lavender Road who was the late scratch. NTamm just tweeted that she is close to the ambulance but every time she gets up she just falls back down. Dave Grening has been tweeting as well.

Pretty sad situation, I hope she makes it.

Pretty amazing - on the NYRA feed, Alvarado was still on the horse when the scratch was announced prerace (if the video and audio were not delayed). I was wondering what was wrong with the horse at the time of the scratch.

Given that she actually did not run, this is a very tough situation. Hope the filly is OK.

Grening just tweeted that she has been tranquilized. They are placing her on a mat and sliding into the ambulance. She is alive and being taken to Rood and Riddle.
