Just throwing it out there that just because one grows up in an area where there was lots of snow doesn't mean one actually knows how to drive in the snow. I've seen some of the worst snow drivers in history, for instance, in Buffalo, New York.

you're right of course...experience does not equal skill.

Just outside my neighborhood there's a steep hill, These a**holes with
rear wheel drive insist on driving up the hill when there is snow they constantly get stuck and cause a parking lot. You wish you can take them out the car an knock some sense into them.

I also laugh at these people who here the word snow, they go an raid the supermarket for food. Thinking that they going to be stuck in their home for weeks. They buy huge amounts of bread, eggs and milk. They must love making and eating french toast

true, there are horrible drivers that are from the area.
Thing is they have no excuse and to me are worse than the people that have transplanted from more sunny climes.

this thread should be in off topic, not on the main forum

It snowed 2 inches here in Seattle and all hell broke loose, a city under siege by snow

Everything you post should be in off topic, what's your point?

don't bother packing the sunscreen or a bathing suit cause you won't need em for 6-7 months

Thanks Mike but I got a older guy I split tickets with that doesn't drink and owns a car dealership so I'll be picked up and delivered to the OTB in some 4x4. Best part is I decide the tickets we play. This card looks too good to pass. All I owe is a couple of grill cheeses.

while we're going to get some snow, thankfully the system has shifted further North than they had planned. when you look at Doppler, the "snow" portion of the system is basically going to blanket michigan.....except for the very small corner that I actually live in near Detroit

I'll have never been so happy over 4 inches of snow.
