Where did he have the trouble? I didn't even see the first part of the race. When I started watching the race, they were going into the far turn. He was sitting behind horses and looked like he might have some horse. When they straightened away in the stretch, he swung out into the clear but came up empty.

As I said, I only saw the final 7/16th of a mile. Unless he had some huge trouble the first part of the race, I don't think he had any excuses. If you call that trouble, then practically half the field has trouble in every race. Practically half the field is behind horses until they hit the stretch. When a horse comes up totally empty in the stretch, I don't know how you can complain about the ride. As I said, if you think that horse had trouble, then you probably think that close to half the horses you bet on had trouble.
