She's not a ball breaker so I call her. She's talking ragtime. I put wifey on the phone, she says "your mom is having a stroke". call my brother right back and tell him, and he says "she's right ". So we call 911 ambulance comes, we get to mass general and they confirm and send her up to ICU. So it's pretty scary. They send me home that after noon. the pick 5 had gone and there was like 5 minutes to post for the next race. I figure that I spent that time that morning, I'll at least get the pick 4 bet down. I get alive to 2 hosses in the last, and get the good priced one to win. I call wifey over and say, see that $12.67 balance ? when i hit refresh its gonna say something good. Thinking I had hit the pick 4, i was happy after such a scary day. Well it turns out I forgot that i put that pick 5 bet in and hit that too. so instead of saying like $2500. it said over $18,000. I'm like WTF ? then i looked at my wagers and sho enuff at 9:34 am the bet was placed, July 6, 2013. my dad would have been 91 that day.
Cool story man - I love it. I hope your mother recovered fully from the stroke, and it's real cool that you hit the bets on your dad's birthday.
