That sucks. I'm so sorry for his connections. RIP, and may we some day sooner rather than later discover an effective treatment for laminitis. It's taken so many good horses.

All sorts of bad luck with this. First was thought he could have surgery then come back. Then it was worse than thought and he's retired. Now he's gone.
Would have been a nice regional prospect, especially with the loss of Harlan's Holiday.

i have to say that when i saw his injury, my first thought was of the oneill horse that had the plane issues, and everything went wrong after.
damn, hate to see another lost to laminitis. it takes too many
