Saw Jack Wolf Thursday and he said the colt had gone wrong post-surgery. Called it 50-50 then. Between him and Bond Holder, some very bad luck on this front.

That sucks. I'm so sorry for his connections. RIP, and may we some day sooner rather than later discover an effective treatment for laminitis. It's taken so many good horses.

All sorts of bad luck with this. First was thought he could have surgery then come back. Then it was worse than thought and he's retired. Now he's gone.

Would have been a nice regional prospect, especially with the loss of Harlan's Holiday.
