I expect NY to win the next two...so, we will see. Im not sure if I should take away that LA is vulnerable since they've had a hard time winning at home.

Two brutal beats for the Rangers.

Game 1 wasn't that bad of a loss. Truthfully it should've never gotten to OT the way LA dominated the 3rd. Last night though, was a huge kick in the nuts. They outplayed the Kings and had chance after chance to put the game away but couldn't do it. Kreider's lousy breakaway attempt was the coup de grace.
On the plus side, the Rangers have shown the last two games that this series is way closer than most thought going in. Have to win both at home, but the series is far from over. MSG will be rocking, unlike that building filled with bored Laker fans. Last edited by ateamstupid : 06-08-2014 at 07:10 PM. |

i'm stunned about game three, and really hope the rangers can get themselves together and make a series of it.

Truthfully I've never seen a series in which one team got every single lucky bounce and the other got none. How many clean goals do the Kings have vs. goals deflected off Rangers? It's been unfathomable to me. Really hope that puck luck turns tonight, because a sweep would be a complete disservice to how close this series has really been. |

No doubt the Kings have had the benefit of some strange bounces. But they cashed them in. Zuccarello has to beat Quick on his shot in the 1st. Nash has to fight through the hook and score on the open net in the 2nd. Pulling Lundquist and getting 0 shots on goal in 4+ minutes wasn't bad luck. This series could easily be 2-1 Rangers so no disrespect to a very good team. But New York had better find a way to score first tonight because if they don't I think you'll see the same kind of game you watched Monday where the Kings just try to suffocate them. |

![]() ![]() It's really been unbelievable. Not taking anything away from the Kings cause they're as good as advertised. But the Rangers haven't gotten a single bounce go their way. Unfortunately people see that they are down 3-0 and assume that the Kings have dominated the Rangers when that hasn't been the case. First 2 games go to OT and then Quick flat out steals game 3. It's been a lot closer then the bottom line shows. Regardless the Blueshirts need to be perfect from here on in. Holding out hope, that the epic comeback starts tonight.
