Dreamcatcher may be the single worst movie I have ever seen. Just painful to watch. What could have been an absolute killer, turns out to be boring featuring horrible acting.
Secret Window was a little long winded, but enjoyable. Depp can act, period. Where did they get those guys (save Morgan Freeman) in Dreamcatcher, at a carnival?

I think "Carrie" is one of the great adaptations of a King book. I love that film.
"Stand By Me," anyone? I also love "Shawshank," "Dolores Claiborne" and "Misery." I liked the first two episodes of "The Stand" and hated the rest (kind of similar to my reaction to the book, actually). And "The Shining," though I didn't like the TV movie version. Embarrassed to admit I haven't seen "The Dead Zone" yet, seeing as how it's my favorite of his books that I've read. I think the TV show is decent.
