![]() I'm still not sold on Shared Belief's dirt ability. They took him away from Santa Anita because the track there wasn't agreeing with his feet.
Chrome can run on any surface. He's almost a lock to win the Eclipse at this point, if only because the Derby/Preakness double is extremely powerful. (And I don't even like Chrome at all, so I'm no fanboy.) |

![]() Hard to argue with what he did last year, but I don't have very high hopes for Shared Belief going forward. . . It's tough enough for brilliant/precocious types to look as good at three, and he's already missed half the season.

![]() It's almost like we now have two distinct 3-yo 'divisions,' one for those who compete in the TC campaign, and those that start their 3yo season in the latter half of the year.
I don't care much for HOY type debates, but IMHO, a horse needs to be competitive in both halves of the year to be considered. A TC champion excluded ![]() |
