For one reason, Sherman asked for permission and O'Neill said he didn't because he wasn't aware he could.
Does it really matter? Who really cares about Nasalgate?
I know its history, but this is clearly a double standard by the NY Stewards. I dont think O'Neil asked because he was shot down before he could, it sounds like. It was about his reputation they did not like IMO.
