Does anyone think So Lonesome 2nd-off the shelf with that bullett Palm Meadows work has a shot? If he were to hit the board, he has a pretty good pedigree for the Derby.

I honestly thought 50-1 was a little ridiculous. His 7F effort at Belmont was pretty solid. He then improved stretching out to a mile. While he finished well back of Gala Award in the last (not a terrible effort considering the fractions/horses that finished in front of him), the switch to synth and more (expected) pace -- I don't see it as impossible that he could turn the tables on the likely second choice.

The NY Derby or the Kentucky Derby?

Not impossible but really up against it. Interesting stat on Bush with first time blinkers..........he is only 1-42 coming into race. I assume the bullet work was with blinkers on and maybe that woke the horse up. No disagreement with the Derby pedigree............

With 3 Kittens and Keeneland favorite Centre Court...I'd say you'll get that value in the Win pool...Maybe slightly less in multi's? I give the 8 a shot too. 8-6-10 for me.

Anyone have a read on the 8th race?

I'm inclined to take a shot with the 11 - Ancil...Good Keeneland trainer and Rocco has been good with turf speed. Probably use the 9 and 6 in multi's.

I think the 1 might offer the most value but that's a hard post for this race.

I actually thought this race was one of the easier races on the card. I liked 2 and 6 with a little 3 as a backup.

I think you get all of that plus some. I think she goes off somewhere between 10 and 15-1.

I hope to get 8-1 but doubt it as well. Her run in the Taylor was terrific and she may just be better than this bunch, my only reservation is she may want more ground.

Just perused through some of the pics the Mrs got and really like this one of Judy the Beauty because of the look on the groom's face.

Wish I had the chops to photoshop out the dude on the left but whatever.

The turf race he won was against a pretty shitty field. At Gulfstream he did not run a step. I dont see how he is under 75-1 in this race. I hope Im wrong and he does run well, I like the connections.
