I don't understand why you would pass up what you consider to be a strong opinion just because it doesn't align with another race in a sequence. Your reason is you were "looking forward to it."

As you said, "I have a super strong opinion on the 7th and 8th." The LA Derby is no more a part of the strong opinion than the races carded before and after the 7th and 8th races.

The Crescent City Derby for La breds is one of the the best races on the card imo. 14 horse field with numerous options. i think this race will provide some great value.

Especially if one had a strong opinion in the two races preceding it.
I'm guessing if Steve Crist had a strong opinion he wouldn't boycott betting a DD in the 7th and 8th just because of poor race placement in the multi's.

That's my big concern with her.

This is a small field but an interesting race because Fiftyshadesofgold has a giant pace edge, at least according to TimeformUS. I'm hoping Mike Smith hustles her out of there.

Trying to predict what jocks will do is much more difficult than the actual handicapping.

Another prime Pletcher(palice malice) runs off the screen 2nd off the layoff. Drugs was all over this 2 years ago.
