Arguably the surest favorite of the day (although a lot of people have the right to debate that this race is wide open too) to me is the Filly #10 Shuruq taking on the boys here. She has 2 wins and 1 2nd at this distance over this Meydan surface and has beaten a lot of the other entrants in here. So I like her to win, but I think there could be some big bombs underneath.

#7 Forjatt lost to Shuruq last out, but got shuffled back a little further than he usually likes it and still closed to get 4th. I think he'll be more involved early and runs a big one. Granted he's run against lesser, but he hasn't finished worse than 4th in any race since 12/2012.

#11 Mull of Killough is battle tested running in the Cox Plate, the Arlington Million and the G1 Singapore Airlines Cup. He cuts back to a mile and has run over synth before. His best effort makes him very live here. He should be on/or pressing the pace.

#16 Limario gets his 2nd start off the layoff while getting a run over the Meydan surface in his last. He's also cutting back from normally running in longer races. Definitely eligible for improvement.

I think Shuruq is the real deal here, but if I can get one of those bombs underneath in an exacta, it should be a nice payoff
