I know TVG does, but I don't think Twinspires verifies it, and I honestly think they don't care, as long as they get the money. I don't even think there is a way for the state to see if anyone is doing it. I think it is all on the honor system IMO. But I think if I was going to do it, I would sign up by phone with an out of state area code

I thought years ago when I signed up for Twinspires and Expressbet I had to provide a copy of a valid drivers license and a copy of my social security card.

Thanks for all the replies and PMs. I have some things to consider. It really is a pain in the a**. I had really enjoyed the ease of playing and watching the races from home. Now my wife on the other hand did not seem too torn up about it LOL. Thanks again. This is such a great forum I don't post much but there is a wealth of knowledge on this forum.
Best of Luck to all. Last edited by Bigdaddychance : 03-27-2014 at 02:24 PM. Reason: spelling error |

You could try DerbyWars. They take Texas residents because it is concerted Fantasy sports.

Agree.. That is where I have been going as my "substitute". Not quite the same as placing a bet, but it's better than nothing at all or driving to the track I suppose.
