Im not sure Baze and Pincay are in the same league. Infact they arent, Baze rides in the minors, and Pincay rode with very good riders.

They all have their place. A guy like John Davila Jr has been knocking em dead at the Finger Lakes for years now.
Probably makes 150 grand per year. Goes home to his native country all winter, hes off from riding Dec-Mid April. Agent gets 25% and he makes over a 100 grand a year after that.
Probably more money than he ever dreamed he'd make in his life when he was growing up back home and he gets to spend 4 1/2 months with his family at home each year.
Everyone has different goals, aspirations, and dreams.

I was wrong, Finger lakes purses have risen and hes made about 250 grand this year. Even after he pays the agent hes making about 180 grand.
Everyone has their niche.

yeah, John D. has cleaned up the last few years... I just look for the JD/Chris Englehart combo anytime I'm betting FL... a couple years ago, it was all John Grabowski... with trainer M.A. Ferraro.

earlie fires is incredible. especially incredible is that he can still just flat out muscle a horse under the wire first at his age -- it's amazing.
