I have no idea why Irad wrangled Pax In Terra back after that early advance. I realize he broke a bit slow, but he had to know they would crawl up front.
IMO... I think he is afraid of having another GREAT horse getting injured. He was the Jock on Mean Season on Saturday 3/1 ... when it seemed Irad was winning everything...
So today, he probably will be colder that it is in Kansas.
