And, yeah, Auckland Cup day on Wednesday. It’s something they’ve been trying for a couple of years now – I think they’re trying to follow the example of Melbourne, who have always had their Cup on a Tuesday. But it’s going to take a few years to get there! At least I’ve got the day off tomorrow. Should be a great day, with three brilliant stakes races and the fabulous Pinzaara.
