Started snowing around 2pm and still falling..temp around 25..predicting 8-12inches and looks like it will happen..it's an icy snow and sticking...can't remember this much snow in over 30 years...Raliegh.NC, a total mess,cars stalled on major roads and highways..and they are south of here..My son lives in Columbia,SC and they too are getting hammered..

still ice in many spots on the road here, and will be below freezing tonight...so, when tony heads to work tomorrow it ought to be treacherous as hell.
by saturday, high of 61. ah, the south.... everyone, stay safe.
