Big game tomorrow night, who you got? Miami is minus 4. I think Lebron and Miami make a big statement. Lebron especially has done a lot of talking latley. About a week ago he said to watch him vs Washington and promised to go off. He did not do much and they lost as a 10 point favorite. Then he talks about how KD gets more shots then him, then today I read he is requesting a sit down with the new NBA commissioner. And back too a few weeks ago, he was saying how Wades knees are a big issue. Felt to me like a built in excuse. I know its a regular season, but I feel like its a big game for Miami.

So I was watching some college games tonight.

McDermott from Creighton can shoot. He will be an effective player with the right team.
Calipari's teams always look poorly coached. Poor defensive fundamentals and not a whole lot of effort.

I think Wade is the 3rd best 2 guard of all time.
I also think he could have gone to Europe and had a Kobe style procedure on his knees two summers ago. The thing is this, the Wade of even last years playoffs is still a top 3 2 guard in the NBA right now. But how often do we get that Wade? If he is milking it now and will be fine for the playoffs Im good with that. But recent Lebron comments makes me wonder if he is not more injured then even teamates believed. I would rate the 2's like this. And Im talking right now today. Harden, Wade, Kobe. Thats assuming Curry and Westbrook are 1's, even though they are the definition of combo guards.

I'd take DeRozan instead of street clothes Kobe

I'd take Wesley Matthews over both. Klay Thompson and Lance Stevenson too. Maybe Bradley Beal. Of course Ginobelli is better than the post injury Kobe as well.

lolol....
I guess I would take Thompson right now. No one else from your list. Your funny Chuck, Im a Kobe hater but pre injury he was 27 a game. About a month back when I said Wade is right with Kobe as far as an all timer you jumped on me. Even though Wade is around 26 a game for his career.

Kobe looked finished last I saw him. No legs. He is old and coming off a major injury and has a million miles on his legs already.

You do realize that there is more to the game than just points right?
Kobe is the 2nd best SG though you could easily make the case that Jerry West could be 2nd. Wade is 4th especially if he is going to be a 75% player from now on.

Those guys are all better players than Kobe right now until proven differently.

The Wade of last years playoffs was not as good as he has been this year when he has played. It was a short price that they'd be resting him more this season after last years issues. However who knows if he is going to hold up for 7 weeks of playoffs?

Kobe was pretty horrible during his brief return. Small sample size and yeah he is coming off of a major injury but he looked bad and then got hurt again and is going to miss his expected return date possibly by a month.

It was a good win for the Rockets without Harden, but the Spurs are not near the same team without Kawhi Leonard.

I didn't see that, that obviously hurt them big time too. They stayed relatively injury free for most of the first half, which is pretty good for an older team. Now all of a sudden they seem to be getting hit with a ton of injuries. Splitter and Green should be back fairly soon so that will help a little.

Looked like a hamstring. Still a ways to go before the playoffs for them to get healthy

They dont have a prayer come playoff time. With or without him.
I have updated my legit West Championship contenders. No longer 6 legit contenders.
In order....
OKC
Golden St
Houston
Clippers
Portland

He got hurt in the 3rd quarter and left a little after that.

It was a great win for the Rockets, who were in dire need of a good effort after a terrible home and home with Memphis. To win without Harden, especially the way he had played thus far this year against SA, is even better.

No lose situation for OKC. It doesn't mean much if they lose without Westbrook, but if they win it would be nice of course. They have played so well lately I don't think a loss would bother them much.

One thing is clear, the gap between the best two players in the world has narrowed considerably.
