They could've moved the bin Laden and Saudis' so that they wouldn't be slaughtered in the streets by civilians after 9/11

Like you, I have no "inside information" about the discussion between Cheney and King Abdullah that transpired today.
I can speculate that the main reason was either to prepare them for US withdrawl and admission of failure, attempting to gain support to talk to Sadr so as to "put out the fire", or perhaps forge some kind of cobbled alliance between Syria, Jordan and maybe Egypt. I won't know until the "official" report is reported in the press. Even then, I'll have my doubts.
Do you know which international company supplies oil pumping technology and pipeline supplies? Clue...read about the company that Cheney was the former CEO and still holds considerable stock. Nothing would amaze me.

As far as moving the bin Laden family and the Sauds out of the country, seems to me they could have stayed either in their hotel rooms for a few days or gone to Crawford for a month or two. Most folks didn't even know they were here in the states until after they were rushed out.

I pretty much gave a reason..only conjecture on my part. However...about Halliburton..they were(and still are) the company with the most sophistictated and high tech equipment available in the world and probably the best at R&D. So I think the connection to Cheney, and any ulterior motives is far fetched at best. Of course, we could always take out that rat bast**d Al Saydr and things would clear up considerably!!

Halliburton is correct. Remember the "no-bid" contracts? Cost over runs?

Of course you won't find it in Halliburton's prospectus or current financial reports. At least not in the Wall Street Journal or Halliburton's website.
It continues to amaze me that some are so eager to believe that the threat comes from "outside" of the USA. The reality might just be too horrible, too abhorent, for believing citizens to possibly confront, let alone accept.

As you might know, "Deep Throat" (later revealed) advised Woodward and Bernstein to "follow the money" during the Watergate days.
I've been looking. Especially interesting is the as yet unidentified, and unclaimed money that was made on the "put" orders on American and United Airlines. This transaction could easily be found if the SEC would only reveal the trader. Is protection to the identity being provided by higher powers?

How do you expect me to know who is protecting the one that made the "put" order?
Not much seems preposterous to me. A huge building falling down that wasn't targeted or hit, one that showed no smoke, and has a video of "blast sequence" evidencing "controlled demolition".
Unlike you, I trust no one, least of all those that have squandered so many lives during their "adventure" to create "democracy", or find wmd's, or line their pockets with oil revenues and no-bid contracts.
