![]() I don't think anyone has read the rules. No one is ever out of this contest.

![]() I don't like this format much. If you take it even semi-seriously, then you're committing your attention for 6 months. You could run a 60-day streak of successful show picks, have by far the longest streak, but still feel you need to start a new streak in case someone passes your 60.
Previously there was satisfaction in watching the field quickly narrow down. Going from 6000 entrants to 600 usually took, what, a week? Now there will be 6000 for the duration. That said, the new format is a smart move by SA. Instead of a handful of people paying attention after the first 2 weeks, they will probably have thousands still playing and paying attention for months. --Dunbar

•Longest Show Streak: $5,000 •Longest Win Streak: $2,000 •Most Total Wins: $1,000 •Most Total Places: $1,000 •Highest Win Payout: $1,000 Longest show streak payoff more than win streak? Bout 5-6 years ago YB had a whodoyoulike contest site..the longest show steak was the winner period..if you lost a race you started over again..at the end of the contest period the longest streak was the winner...and you could make picks at a number of tracks...in one of the contests i was the leader with 10 straight then my next pick failed...started new streak and got to 9 then the contest ended..winner had 16 straight..

Today's card could be a bloodbath. With over 90 days left there's plenty of time to put a win streak together. I seem to be landing on Talamo in a number of races. The early double with his two mounts looks inviting if it pays anywhere near $36. Best of luck to you and everyone playing! |
