I have Comcast. Have been getting both HRTV and TVG for years now. I'm pretty sure that TVG is standard with cable and HRTV is part of the "Sports Entertainment Package" for an additional $9 per month. Sports package includes several other channels like NFL Red Zone, ESPN Goal Line, Pac12 ntwrk, etc |

![]() I agree, hrtv is the best. But at least you can watch the races on tvg. Hrtv is so 1990 in technology. Holy crap at least go digital.

![]() I have always wondered if Dishnet is not available everywhere. I would think if DirectTv was available then Dish should be available. Dish carries both, as well as Roberts Communication channel which provides (at a separate subscription price) all racing and some or most in HD. I will watch night racing & The Quarters on TVG. By then the daytime clowns have left and some of the night time talent is very listenable to, especially qh racing from Los Al. Other than that Kasept summed it up perfectly. Also the XM side of XMSirius carries the HRTV feed during the day a lot of the time.

I actually miss the old Philly Park Phonebet channel circa 2004 when they showed every major track and replays during the overnight hours. They eventually lost the rights to carry NYRA on the channel in 2005, but still carried everything else. |
