Archie's still enjoying a break - apparently strengthening up nicely. Can't wait until he makes his debut!

Pinzaara's being entered for the Newmarket Handicap at Ellerslie on Boxing Day! Huge step up, but I'm sure she'll try her hardest again.

So happy to see The Hombre news on the front of the Informant but come on..... they really couldn't use a picture of him where he's not behind another horse?

Ah well.

Haha. Looking forward to seeing him again! Kind of hoping Pinzaara beats him in the Newmarket, though!

In other news, the hype horse Lifeline Express made his debut at Matamata today. He was 13-1 third favourite for the Derby, even though he'd never raced! But he won brilliantly, and now he's Derby second favourite at 8-1.

You KNOW how much I love that horse. That said, nothing would make me happier than if Pinzaara won it.

Hey ed... the Telegraph?

Not to sound completely stupid here but is that race named after someone (watch it's a great and historic horse that I have never heard of) cause I was gonna say they should honor Mufhasa somehow and just kinda wondered...

Thanks!

I honestly don't know! I don't think it's named after a horse. It's had the same name since it was first run in 1891, but I have no idea what the reason for it is. But that's a really good idea! Mufhasa's not the first horse to win that race twice, but he's one of the greatest and most popular horses to ever win it. That would be an awesome way to celebrate his amazing career.

Also, the TAB website has introduced live streaming! I haven't tried it out yet, but here's the link: https://www.tab.co.nz/racing/video
