A Harvard Law School grad, Grayson helped create a successful long-distance telecommunications company.

Technically, professionally he started out as a janitor and night watchman while he was putting himself through school. I know the purpose of this thread is to crow delightedly over a self-made man's misfortune's (as the Right prefers their men to be to the manor born), but the actual details about the fraud are pretty interesting:

So glad to know he lost only 40% of his portfolio, this time. The article mentions a previous con where he lost tens of millions. I don't begrudge this man for being self-made, it's his carelessness spending taxpayer money while dismissing any group that voices concern over spending as akin to the KKK or wanting to kill sick people.
