In the second time, I went to Kentucky this summer to meet a girl I met online, and she broke up with me after I met her. Before she broke up with me, Ray had invited me to come to Churchill Downs for some free box seats and to hang out with him in the saddling paddock to watch his lesser known filly named Flak run. In fact, he had offered me 2 passes. It was almost like the girl was meant to come too. It was over though a day after I met her.
Obviously, by then I only was able to use one of them. I was broken up with on Friday of that week, and Flak ran on that Saturday night. Being able to be inside the saddling paddock, go through the tunnel, and go through the same process that every connections of the Kentucky Derby entrants go through saved my week from being completely terrible.
