Our local hipster/eclectic (seriously everything) gets played is doing their "time machine weekend" (which they do every holiday weekend) .

Every hour they play the hits of a given year. The years jump randomly hour to hour as well. Did 1969 and followed it up with 2001. Click on the playlist once you get to the website to get a taste of what they play and also to see what awesomeness came out of each year.
