Default The $5 million dollar spider bite

Black Caviar's half-brother "Jimmy" (a $5 mil yearling, now southern hemisphere 2yo) got bitten by a white tail spider and had a reaction to the antiobiotics, leading to diarrhea. He's now 50/50 with a bad case of laminitis.

I've heard of horses having reactions to shots or crazy things happening to youngsters but geez.

Really sad to hear that. He kept toughing it out, and I had hopes that no news was good news.
