Any idea when the embargo will be lifted?

Wouldn't want fans to actually have PPs early I guess. Strict California rule that no PP can go final until 22 hours before post time.

The first last year had five and the third race had six and the pick 5 handled just shy of $1 million. I think everything will be OK.

I am not talking about handle and could care less about it because handle is there for ALL races on BC Day. As a bettor, I want large fields in the best bet available.

Besides that flaw, the card is usually awesome, but its just ridiculous they can't place the P5 in a better spot.
They have it as 9x5x13x10x10 and it could easily be 9x10x13x10x10. Hell, if they could have just had some flexible between days, they could have put a different race there. And not to mention they are costing themselves money (less combos equals less bet equals less take) |

Second year in a row an undercard stakes on BC Saturday has drawn a five horse field. Also only nine in the Juvenile Turf Sprint is kind of alarming.

The same race drew 5 or 6 in 2003, seems like the same old thing to me. There are way too many graded stakes anymore to actually have too many horses point for a 150k race.
