Discussed sequence with Jon White today..

3rd: Appears there's going to be heavy reliance on short-priced Danderek, but I thought the pace looked hot and the ones rallying, especially Husband's Folly, would be necessary..

4th: Potential quagmire. Some combination of firsters from Baffert (1), Proctor (2) and Miller (7) and those with experience from Glatt (3), Bonde (4) and Sherman (5)..

5th: Straightforward-feeling turf mile for $32k CLM's. Lilly's Perfect appears best poised for stalking trip. Dropper Miss Well Molded will be in the second flight and Tanquerray will come on late..

6th: Don't know if I've ever seen a race with this many starters (9) all coming in with layoff lines. Anxious to see Nat'l Turf for workout info, but likely will single Crucero who gets back to dirt and looks poised for forward move. Jon made interesting points for some oddballs including Ray Bell's Bornatthetrack (fast works for old school conditioner)..

7th: Curious group. Doesn't look like there's anyone here who'll demand the lead. If Gutierrez wants to go with Lumberyard Jack, who's going to get him?

8th: Nothing clever.. 1-4-5.

Laura..

What a tremendous job on this ticket! Can easily see how it wouldn't have taken much to swap singles to the 4 in the nightcap while going 3 deep in the 2nd leg instead (and hopefully getting to the Baffert winner) to take down a share of the $14k pot. Great work!
