In Chicago (New Murder Capital of the Nation) well over 50% of those charged with murder involving a firearm HAVE a felony conviction.

Heck we had a drive-by of a park yesterday that wounded 13 people including a 3-year old, (who was out watching a basketball game at 10:30 at night!).

As they say in Chicago, "They'll be a hot time in the old town tonight, fire, fire, fire."

BTW Keep those three year olds inside tonight.

The story behind the story reads like a Hollywood trailer. It all started last October when an aspiring rapper with gang ties to the Gangster Disciples named Keith Cozart (Chief Keef) was released from jail on gun charges,

A wanna-be rapper and rival gang member (Black P Stone Nation) named Lil JoJo (joseph Coleman) began taunting and 'dissing' Keef with videos of him driving into GD territory.

Lil JoJo was shot and killed by unknown 'assailants' shortly after facebooking his location at a studio. Since that time the gangs have been at war. Over labor day w/e the 18 year old uncle of the 3-year old shot, also a wanna-be rapper and Gangster Disciple gang member named Jerome 'J Money' Wood was shot and killed.

So the park shooting last night was most definitely a battle in the gang war and with the 'bricks' (P. Stone Nation) doing the shooting and contrary to belief, the only true innocent victim in the whole melee is likely the three year old 'Tay Man'.
