Its amazing with all the drugs and spacing trainers give horses now of days that todays grade 1 stake horses would be up against it to win a 32k claimer 20 years ago (which required a mid 90's figure).

$$$$$ Purse is dramatically reduced, they could generate a grade 1 at Turf Paradise if they attach the right dollar figure.

3 out of town stakes wins for Maker (at 3 different tracks) and along with 3 nice 2nd place finishes. Who seems to have the reputation for only being able to win in KY.
