I just tried tomorrow's free race from Belmont. I know all of the features aren't operational, but I don't understand the star system or how the selections are made. I read the site which says stars are based on recent form and morning line odds. But, what exactly does that mean?

I also wasn't sure how to use the pace projector. From that, it appears that the 6 will have a lose easy lead and has the highest spotlight speed figure but he is nowhere in the selections and only has three stars.

What am I missing with this?

The stars and selections are from Timeform (UK) and really have little to do with the content in the PPs. Not really my area but I know this is being addressed.

Thanks. I appreciate the response. If I ignore the stars and the selections, the rest makes much more sense.

Took a look at this last night and it looks great. I have been a weekend player and this has for over 35 years and have learned to change with the times and this looks like a new option. Thanks

OMG, get a life people--your frigging identity is bound up with your browser? IE has been losing market share like forever. And as PCs fade away, it will only continue. Does anybody have IE on their phone or tablet?

mine isn't. nor is my iq level measured by what browser is on my pc.

On another note I would think these guys are on the ball and are targeting the mobile market...

no doubt correct, jms. people aren't lugging pc's to the track.

apparently a glitch in the system

"During this Beta period, the Pace Projector is only available for tracks purchased through the TVG Handicapping Store, and for the two free Races of the Day."

I did - but it doesn't give it to you.
