Its a great card at Calder. Both main 6f drew large and competitive fields
Betting wise it looks great. Meanwhile We have a 4 horse field in the Swaps, 5 horse field in the Hollywood Gold Cup and a 5 horse field in the Suburban. Rout races are dying a slow death.

Summit of SPeed INvaders
Steve,
Im down here in South Florida excited about heading to Calder for Summit of Speed. I seem to recall that a bunch of the low priced invaders have not run well here in the past probably due to the heat and humidity. Can you ask Mike W on Friday if he recalls this, or has any stats? Thanks, Bill

Highlight of the day was Smile by far with heartening Jackson Bend effort and courageous try by Trinniberg. Both sets of connections a tad disappointed but relieved to have their stars back towards their good form.
