I honestly think his lack of positive publicity, so to speak, is at least partially related to general dislike for Robert Brennan, his owner ( who I believe is still in prison ).

Anybody that saw Dehere run knows he was a very good horse.

There is a lot more behind Dehere than meets the eye. He was considered a major disappointment as a stallion by Coolmore. Coolmore sold him for $9M and then they exercised their right of first refusal and recently got him back. The fertility issues with the horse have been part of the problem but the real reason Coolmore bought back Dehere was to weaken Arrowfield in Australia. Dehere was bought primarily for their Australia roster.

The major knock on him is that he has not produced any talented male horses in america. Graeme Hall is not exactly a horse you can hang your hat on.
