I was seeking an answer originally and that's why I posted. I fear the real answer is far from the lucid one you offered above.

Instead of an answer, I was somehow mocked for being a "know-it-all" and posting drivel on Twitter. The real irony is that in a thread with both DrugS and I, that I got mocked for being a "know-it-all." !!!?!?!?!

I'm clueless on most subjects known to man.

And currently suffering from a potentially life threatening/cancer causing (if you believe Golfer's links) infected tooth.

Other than that, we are stride for stride in the Italian know-it-all department, in pursuit of the categorical gold standard Rock Hard Ten'85

Apparently, you got the worst of the double standard because Reese obviously has a heart and is rooting for me in my great health struggle of the moment.

However, I'm sure a great many are rooting for the infected tooth to prevail in a swift glorious victory over me...leaving you to take up the running without me.

If you die from tooth cancer, I promise to go off my low-carb diet and eat a Subway sandwich in your memory. For you, Doug, I will make that sacrifice. I'll even add in a bag of Doritos. The spicy sweet ones, so my pig of a toddler won't demand any.

Gracias, Nicole.

I love tributes ...especially when they're for me.

Maybe an Al Davis style helmet decal avatar tribute as well?

That would be classy!

But, of course, SAL instead of AL.

By the way...can someone please send that Charles Ramsey character from Cleveland over to Rupert Pupkin's house.

I think KyRim has been chained up there for the last few years.

And speaking of Charles Ramsey ... I don't want to get the govt conspiracy theorists crazies all riled up... but he sure looks a lot like the Katrina Looter guy:

just to clarify... i was a size 14, and got down to a 4. by no means was i jabba the hut or a biggest loser candidate. things tend to creep up on you when you have a child, then two, then three, and then quit smoking-that was the killer.
at any rate, that was about 12 years ago, much healthier and happier now.

Is it okay if I just fill in the "S" with a Sharpie? Kind of how, if I get an Orb hat and then he doesn't win the TC, I'm going to turn it into a personalized gift for my brother Rob, but I'm just going to cut out the letters and rearrange them. Because that will look real classy, in that ransom note kind of way.

Wow. I had no idea fresh veggies, olive oil, cage free eggs, grass-fed cheese, tofu and nuts were bad for me. Thanks for letting me know. I'll get off this dangerous crap right away.

(I'm on a vegetarian version- there's nothing in the grocery cart my grandmother wouldn't recognize as food. Except maybe for the tofu.)

I agree ultra low carb is not good for the body long-term, but that's why you don't stay on it forever. Plus, I miss milk.

When most people say they are doing the low-carb thing, it's the Atkins diet. What you are doing is essentially eating clean.

I don't care if people lose weight on Atkins, it is not healthy.
