I live about 6 miles from Vernon Downs, all back roads. It's friggin beautiful this time of year.

Really? I am so sorry.

I honestly thought the title of this thread was Vernon Downs SHUT DOWN. Wouldn't have been surprised.

Tom, I was there once, so many years ago, 1988 I believe. A tad out in the middle of nowhwere, no?

Middle of nowhere??!! It's right between NYC and Buffalo.

Vernon Downs nearly folded a few years ago, but things have improved.

only 219 left out of 527 on day one. Glad this is only 2 times a week.

I am sure it's because 90% of the peeps playing have no frickin' clue just like me and can't even find some P.P's on the damn place. (free P.P's anyhow )

I am just glad my dart landed on the bulls eye yesterday, but really am not holding my breath on staying alive in this one too much longer
