Speaking of, how much do you think the p6 pays if the 4 beats the 7? Had it either way (on a $300 ticket ), but i think it would've paid substantially more considering Matz's #'s with firsters. He was dead on the board even w/ JJ up, had to be the poor %.

I think if that the 4 horse wins, the number of tickets still alive would've been even more drastically cut than the 20k to 3k that it was with the 7 winning.

Was rooting hard and loud for the 11 in the finale, no such luck.

I know trying to understand how jocks think is an exercise in futility, but how was Miss Bikini Bottom not on the lead at Tampa?

Right. If we knew she wasn't going to be within 2 lengths of the lead through a relatively moderate pace the winner looks much better.

Nothing like getting softened up by ridiculous 99-1 and 70-1 horses, while the overbet favorite gets a perfect trip to run you down at 19-1.
