![]() I realize I've Struck A Nerve has had a tough trip or two, but where did that race come from?
Code West was put away on the turn, and came back to finish in a close photo for the win. The race looked ugly visually, but the final time was very good. They went 0.30 seconds faster than Grade 3 older males at the same distance in a race won by Mark Valeski. Albeit, that one was run with a pretty slow pace. Unlimited Budget laid off a very strong pace and won the Rachel Alexandra clear going 4/5ths slower. |

What was Terry Thompson doing in the Rachel Alexandra? Those early fractions were ridiculous.

![]() #4 Cool Street ran a hell of a race in the Gr3 Mineshaft at FG.
Sat in last, about 7-9 lengths back, behind some ridiculously slow early fractions. Then he kicked it in and was rolling by horses late to get up for 2nd. Nice job in his Stks debut after winning four straight. Flint will hopefully send him to the NO Hcp later in the meet. Love to see what he can do behind some pace. |
