Only 2 singles alive for R6 jackpot, the 9 and 10, Countess Commander and Everyone Loves Me. The 1,2,3,4,5,7 worth $111K each. #Gulf
Also, Pick 5 carryover if anybody but the 1, 2, 7 or 12 win.

How do you cover for 1.7 million. Evenly bet field too. $10,000 to win on all the rest ? Or just sit & pray.

Its virtually impossible to cover in that instance for many reasons.

If this thing gets over 2.5 million, they are gonna do a forced payout sometime afterwards IMO.

Its within the rules as long as they follow some guidlines.

(7) A written request for permission to distribute the Rainbow 6 carryover
on a specific date shall be submitted to the Division. The request must contain
justification for the distribution, an explanation of the benefit to be derived, and
the intended date for the distribution.
(8) Should the Rainbow 6 carryover be designated for distribution on a
specific date, the unique wager provision of this Rule shall be suspended, and
the entire pool shall be distributed as a single price pool to those whose
selection finished first in the greatest number of Rainbow 6 contests. The
Rainbow 6 carryover shall be designated for distribution on a specified date and
performance only under the following circumstances:
(a) Upon written approval from the Division as provided in Section
(7) above.
(b) When the Rainbow 6 is discontinued.
(c) On the closing day of the meet.

Why wouldn't they want the jackpot to keep going higher and higher?

Pick 5 carryover of $60,762 tomorrow.

I would think at some point that the betting would become stagnant because getting one ticket would become almost impossible. Look at today for example, $34/$36/$52/$20 and there was MULTIPLE people hitting it with only 2 horses alive to one sole ticket.

Maybe I am wrong
