That was about as bad as it gets.

He was on a horse with no speed, cut immediately to the rail out of the gate to save ground from an unfavorable post, saved ground thoughout the running of the race and had nowhere to go in the stretch. A hole did not open. I'm not sure what you guys expected him to do there, run over horses?

The winner looks to be a good one. She had been running pretty quick races over soft ground in Brazil. After watching her Brazilian races, I was a bit shocked she challenged for the lead, because she was laying midpack there going longer, but she did manage to set the track record. Even if a hole opens for Lezcano, I don't think Dealbata wins no matter who is piloting.

Extremely impressed with Old Tune. She made a major impression in the post parade, then ran a bang up race setting legit fractions and opening up in an ok field. One to watch

Worse ride in a long time; I have a stiff neck in sympathy with her head being jerked left so many times...

I'm a Lezcano fan, but he had openings to get off the rail on the far turn and for some reason didn't take them. Once I saw her still on the inside turning for home I knew she was screwed.
