He lost his last start to Citrus Kid, who isn't exactly much.

MMM was campaigned so sparingly last year that I am surprised to see him listed as likely off short rest.

Well, the SunMill Classic was basically a five-eighths work. He's been good since so why not run here..

I think she makes a good point. They were racing him every two months last year, at the expense of both the Whitney and JCGC, and now they are running him on three weeks rest. Your point is valid as a general sentiment, but considering the handling of this horse, it's very surprising.

And, I don't agree that the Sunshine Millions was close to " basically a five-eighths work. "

yeah, EP had been laid off awhile, so i figure his loss last out is forgivable. no telling-he may improve (obviously) or he may just be another decent 3 yo who doesn't move forward.

bourbon courage is definitely one to watch.
