I think Jewel Princess debuted for mc 12,500 at calder.

Yes. Mig rode him.

I loved Proud Truth. It's amazing he came back from his injury to win that BC Classic.

Yeah, Proud Truth was one of those generally forgotten and underappreciated horses most people don't know much about.

That crop he was in was sick.

Wasn't much after his first 9 races ... with only a maiden win under bug rider Willie Martinez to show... but this horse eventually won and placed in a few big races.

This horse was 2nd in the BC Sprint one year and 2nd in the Classic the next.
