![]() Randy Moss, even in my own opinion, is a below average and deservingly under utilized receiver in the year 2012.
If he wins a Super Bowl with San Fran this year ... does it mean he was a more successful player this year, than he was in a few of his early years in Minny where he played on teams that would have otherwise been 2-14 or 3-13 without him? It was nice to see guys like Crabtree and Vernon Davis giving Moss tributes when they made big plays in Saturday's game. Vernon Davis even gave him a double tribute after one of his long catches, by doing two vintage Moss celebrations after a long catch. However, he doesn't even belong on the football field anymore. Watching him play WR is like how horse players might have felt watching Old Rosebud run in claiming races at age 10 a century ago. |

![]() winning a super bowl shouldn't be the arbiter of whether one is top-notch or not. if it was, mark rypien would be considered better than dan marino. that's preposterous. people tend to forget that it's a team sport. qb's get tons of attention, whereas many folks can't even name their entire defensive line, or offensive for that matter. it's the same as in hockey, where crosby is 'better' than ovie, because crosby won the cup. yep, all by himself he won that.
