![]() Let me throw this one at you.Had Dave Kingman not gotten injured 2 seasons he most probably would have hit 500 home runs.I think his total was 440 with a batting average in the 230's.With the barometer being 500 round trippers would this guy ever belonged if that scenario ever happened?

I'm not big on giving opinions as to who belongs in or not. All I can tell you is that, since I live about 40 minutes from Cooperstown, it's a very nice place to bring your family. If you time your trip with the Hall of Fame game, tell your kids that there are lots of autographs available. It's a "must" for baseball fans. Lake Otsego is beautiful, folks are friendly, and it's about an hour from Saratoga, so the Racing Museum might also be part of the trip. DTS |
