Asbourne Folly, 7, at Excter on January 1st.

He had gone off at 100/1.

This was only his 5th race. He'd unseated the rider in one and was pulled up in another.

Baltimoar, 5, at Ayr. He was the 1/5 favorite. January 1st.

5YO Pleasantfriday in the 5th at Aqueduct, while in the lead. By Pleasant Tap out of Ruby Friday (Distinctive Pro), she was 17-7-1-1.

Wong Wei Xiang, an apprentice jockey and the second in Singapore to die in the past few weeks. (Jacky Low was killed in a motorcycle crash in December. He was on his way to the track)
