Thanks. How many of the 31 loser horses were just bad horses who didn have a shot regardless of their post. How many were piloted by hopeless jocks or trained by hopeless trainers? How many had a running style that required them to be invovled early? How many with the proper style were piloted by a jockey who fit that style? I saw that horse as being around late, had a couple nice works and I feel Talamo is a decent Jock for late running horses. After I did my analysis I looked at what Steve had posted and felt REALLY good where I landed. My only real concern is that I think they setup the nightcaps in Cali to give them a good shot at a carryover but I usually like a good conspiracy theory. After Big Brown I stopped overthinking post positions. If I lose on a horse that I think is best because of post so be it, although I reserve the right to whine and piss and moan because that is what I do.
