No shot, there were more then 4 horses in the race.

Hey genius, in case you didn't notice...

Bernardini finished 2nd to a very nice horse in the BCC. I would venture to say that he would have had a shot.

Showing Up ran well in the Derby, but he did not run at two. Pulpit ran fourth as the favorite in his career-ending Derby, after not running at two.

Yes, I agree with you. I would not play a horse to win in the Derby if said horse had not run at two. I learned with poor Pulpit.
