i'm sympathetic to the idea of potenially losing a circle of friends you may have at this particular location. i feel bad for you if that's the case.

but the idea that anyone owning a computer has to drive 100 miles to make a bet on a race isn't your strongest argument. the existence of account wagering in california is going to be a contributing factor if the site closes.

the only time i step into the ventura offsite facility anymore is during the fair. times change.
