I flew a desk also. Was also in personnel. Moved a lot of guys to Vietnam. Hope they all survived. I almost went too. Had orders to go to Cam Ranh. Cancelled at the last minute. Guess, some guy reenlisted and I was no longer needed. Only flew on an Air Force plane one time. Went from Niagara Falls, NY to Wright-Patterson AFB to the hospital there. They thought I needed surgery, but it turned out that I didn't so they sent me back to Niagara. It was just a mini vacation for me.

As long as we're all telling "war stories," I was USAF too, 1964-1968, in communications. Not a pilot, but could tell you about the time in 1965 I "flew" a C-118 for a few minutes on a hop into Stewart AFB, NY, and got all the passengers sick.

I guess I wouldn't be too surprised either way, if she did run or she didn't, but Hillary looks lilke one tired lady to me. Of course, political types all have big egos. The notion of being the first woman president could be just too tempting. On the other side the Bush family has been out of the spotlight for awhile. I wonder whether any of them are contemplating a run. Jeb maybe?

Surely the Republicans won't run any of those Stepford wives like Palin and Bachman again?

Yes she does look very tired..
Jeb has been mentioned quite a bit...He actually was his daddy's first pick to be prez, but somehow Dumya usurped him...and i don't think another 4 years will cleanse Jeb of his bro's 8 years...jus sayin...

Hard to say what's going to happen in politics. Who would have thought that tricky Dick would have come back to be prez, but I guess even he didn't have such a flair for efing up as Dubya did. At least, not till later on in his presidency. Might have to factor in the success or failure of Obama in his next term also. If he doesn't do well, people may be in the mood to throw the bums out and go with the Republicans again.
