Like it or not, the TB industry is driven by the gambling. Take the people with a gambling problem out of it and older fols have more disposible money to use. Thus it looks as if the older generation will always be the majority of the players. When I was in my mid20s to 40 I was raising a family ,managing and coaching sports , attending HS sports and using my disposible income raising a daughter and 3 sons. My off duty time from the fire dept was spent on at least 1 and sometimes 2 part time jobs trying to support the family . I didnt have time to develope a passion for racing. I have fell into the devils clutch after raising the family. There could be a logical explination for the age of the Horse racing fans.
